The 8th Eastern Economic Forum is held in Vladivostok, Russia from September 10 to 13, 2023. HUA XIN CONTAINER LINES（HUA XIN） is invited to attend and jointly participated with Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC).

Themed“On the Way to Cooperation, Peace and Prosperity”, it is aimed at promoting the economic development of the Far East and expand international cooperation among the Asia-Pacific regions. Over 100 business events are held with about 7,000 participants from 62 countries and regions around the world. The plenary session is scheduled to be held at 15:00 local time on September 12, and Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend and deliver a speak.

During the forum, HUA XIN signs a memorandum of cooperation with VSC, a subsidiary of Global Ports, at 15:00 local time on September 11. With the purpose of “Establishing partnership and developing long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation”, the two parties jointly promote the construction of China-Russia logistics channels. The main areas of cooperation include:

1. Deep development of the route transportation business between Asia-Pacific regions and Russia.

2. High-quality container transportation and cargo handling services through cooperation with VSC terminal.

3. Advanced digital technology systems in transportation and logistics business.

4. Joint implementation of market research in various transport fields, and joint development of shipping, railway and other services.

Since June 2023, HUA XIN carries out container transportation service between Chinese ports and Russian Far East through VSC terminal, and serves import and export cargo flows between the PRC ports of Qingdao and Taicang and Pusan. In the memorandum of cooperation, the two parties agree that from September, vessel calls are planned to be made on a weekly basis.
